Winner of Survivor: Ghost Island (Season 36): Wendell Holland
Wendell Holland was named the winner of Survivor: Ghost Island (Season 36) during the finale on May 23, 2018. He defeated runners-up Domenick Abbate and Laurel Johnson by a vote of 6-5-0. At the time of his win, Wendell was a 33-year-old furniture company owner from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Wendell played an under-the-radar strategic game, letting his ally Domenick be the bigger target, while he made amazing social bonds that ultimately led to his win. Wendell is the first player to win the game after being involved in a tie vote at the Final Tribal Council, where the second runner-up Laurel Johnson cast the tie-breaker vote between him and Domenick Abbate.
