The Survivor Know-It-Alls Recap Episode 6 of Survivor: Ghost Island LIVE From The Peppermill Resort in Reno, Nevada

LIVE after the west coast broadcast of Survivor 36: Ghost Island, Rob Cesternino is joined by Adam Klein, Ben Driebergen, Benjamin “Coach” Wade, and Tyson Apostol to recap this 6th episode and answer your questions LIVE From The Peppermill Resort in Reno, Nevada

Should Kellyn Have Been the Caller?

Live in Reno, Nevada, after his great job last time in Reno, Millennials vs. Gen X winner Adam Klein took Stephen’s seat in his absence and said that Malolo should have made Kellyn be the caller so she could do the puzzle despite her soft voice. Additionally, Rob exclaimed how he was 90% sure Desiree would be sent home from the edit, but Adam was pretty sure it would be James, and regrets not betting one of the fans $100 like he was offered.

Another Winner and Coach Join the Know-It-Alls

After Rob invited Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers winner Ben Driebergen and the three-time dragon slayer, wearing a Komodo, Benjamin “Coach” Wade from Tocantins, Heroes vs. Villains, and South Pacific, both exclaimed how much they are enjoying the season. Rob mentioned how he was puzzled that Kellyn and Desiree did not try to take out Angela, due to her rift with other original Naviti members. Adam also brought up an interesting point that Michael could curry some favor with the others on his tribe by telling them he is 18, to make them think highly of him. On the other hand, Ben said that he thinks Michael is gone next if Malolo goes to Tribal, but Adam thinks Kellyn would take out Angela instead.

Who Would Coach Ride Up to the Merge?

When discussing the new tribe, Yanuya, Coach said that he would ride Chris up to the merge and then dispose of him once he becomes useless to him. Adam also mentioned how Wendell is doing a great job of getting along with everyone, and Ben added that he is playing the best game so far. Coach pointed out that Wendell is in the middle of Domenick and Chris, and could make or break his game, if he has to decide between the two. Adam made the controversial take that Laurel would go home should Yanuya go to Tribal next. On Naviti, all four laughed at Bradley’s focus on the quality of the beaches. Similar to Tony Vlachos, Rob worries that Domenick’s fast-paced game could not last for 39 days, but Coach added that once you relax, you get shown the back door.

What Did the Fans in Reno Have to Say?

When asked about whether James is too nice to play Survivor, Adam joked that Coach did well, but Coach mentions that he never won, but owned all three of his seasons.

Rob also mentioned how Adam always likes to win things, but really likes to rub it in.

Coach said that the dragon of the season is Chris and the dragon slayer is Wendell.

Adam said that Chris would need an idol the most, and Rob said that he is happy that there are not any idols on Ghost Island.

When posed with the idea of a One World style season but the people are split up for every challenge, Adam said that idea might be good in season 50, but not right now.

Adam and Ben joked that they never cried on Survivor, when asked about its effect on the show.

Rob also said that the swaps on day 6 are not doing a good job of preventing a Pagonging but a swap on day 14 would likely work better, for original tribe divisions to form.

Rob is staying with his winner pick of Kellyn, while Adam is switching from Brendan to Wendell, Coach said Wendell, and Ben said Domenick and Laurel.

On the fictional Survivor: Hearts vs. Heads vs. Guts, Coach would be on the Hearts, Ben the Guts, and Adam would be on the Heads tribe.

Tyson Made Adam Realize His Iconic Look (or Lackthereof)

At the arrival of Tocantins, Heroes vs. Villains, and the winner of Blood vs. Water, Tyson Apostol, Adam realized that he was the only one on the stage without an iconic look. Rob has his plaid, Ben and Tyson have their cowboy hats, and Coach has his komono. Lastly, Adam joked that every winner cries on the show, which explained why Rob never won. Rob did say he cried at the family visit of The Amazon and when he got voted out on All-Stars.
