The Survivor Know-It-Alls Recap Episode 13 of Survivor: Ghost Island
LIVE after the eastern broadcast of Survivor 36: Ghost Island, Rob Cesternino & Stephen Fishbach recap this 13th episode and answer your questions!
Who Should Donathan Blame?
Irritated Stephen showed himself right from the getgo when he exclaimed how he felt just as irritated as Donathan felt because of Laurel’s unwillingness to make a move against Domenick and Wendell. Rob countered saying that Donathan has nobody but himself to blame for his current predicament.
What Did Laurel Do to Stephen?
Stephen felt that the story of the episode was Laurel missing her last opportunity of taking out Domenick and Wendell. Rob said he at least understands the carrot being put in front of Laurel with a free ride to the end. Stephen is really frustrated that Laurel isn’t trying to improve her position in the game.
The Baffling Non-Plan to Take Out Domenick
Rob was most baffled with Kellyn, Angela, and Sebastian not getting on the same page with Donathan and taking the golden opportunity to take out Domenick. Rob said that the reward challenge was like the season in a nutshell, and Stephen said it reminded him of the Marquesas pecking order challenge. Rob thinks that the other four flipping on Domenick, Wendell, and Laurel is better than trying to sew dissension between Domenick and Wendell.
The Mom and Dad of Domenick and Wendell
Rob said that Domenick is like the more aggressive father and Wendell is like the less aggressive mother. Rob and Stephen agreed that Wendell had to call Jeff over to win the immunity challenge, and Rob said that he was very savvy to not contest the ruling. Stephen said future players should call Jeff over before they are done. Rob added that he doesn’t see a great future plan for Laurel if she flips on Domenick and Wendell. Rob also thought that Kellyn should have done more probing to see what Domenick and Wendell were transferring.
What Did the Listeners Have to Say?
Rob and Stephen thought that Angela was the vote for Donathan on the re-vote after Wendell shrugged at her (turned out to be Sebastian).
They also agreed that everyone is playing for third place behind Domenick and Wendell.
Another agreement came when asked if the ruling always stands, which they said it does, except if the puzzle is actually wrong.
Rob thought Kellyn made the most blunders out of anyone this season and had a maze to take out Domenick and Wendell and eventually win the game.
Rob noted how great a move Domenick made by taking out Bradley, Kellyn’s best ally, weeks ago.
Stephen said that he doesn’t think jurors are getting bitter towards Domenick and Wendell but adds that they are getting fairly cocky.
