We have a deserving winner and two shunned runners up. Why is it that the jury were so unanimously for Cochran and against Dawn and Sherri?

Here are their predictions for each position in the final five, as well as the fav favourite. Which Blogger do you agree with? What order would you place the final castaways? What has the Dawn and Brenda controversy taught us about how people define "friendship" in an individual game?
This was one of the cruelest votes ever and Brenda's reaction reflected it. I'd say the invisible edit she received was to diminish any connection the viewers had to her in order to avoid outcries of immorality.
Ask just about any Survivor fan who they think will be crowned the King or Queen of Caramoan on Sunday night, and you'll very likely get the same answer: John Cochran, who has emerged from his translucent-skinned South Pacific cocoon to become one of the deadliest players left in the second edition of Fans vs. Favorites.
Finale Week is upon us, Loyal Blog Readers! We’ve weathered the Caramoan storms of Hurricane Brandon and Tropical Storm Phillip. Our Survivor winner is emerging from its cocoon of mystery. In just 48 hours, someone will be getting that million dollar check. The future is bright, Loyal Blog Readers. The Survivor machine just keeps humming away.
Now that the power players have turned on each other, who’s leading the race to the final three? Survivor Caramoan Episode 12
It’s becoming quite evident why Jeff likes this season. The openness and the candor displayed during tribal Council is turning it into the anti-Guatemala, a season he detested.
– It’s Double Elimination Week, Loyal Blog Readers. These episodes usually err on the dull side, and are among my least favorite of any season. But tonight’s wasn’t too bad! Two stellar Immunity Challenges, followed by yet more idol hijinks and some meaty strategy talk. Brenda’s knee has healed. Cochran’s mighty torso has been […]
It's time to rank the remaining players.
– Previously on Survivor; since the merge, Malcolm, Reynold and Eddie have found themselves on the outside of Stealth-R-Us, an unbreakable alliance of 7 led by Phillip but they were gaining confidence and were ready to make a big move. Malcolm: “I still have an idol and I’m not going down without some fireworks.” […]
– Dear Rob, It is rare that I disagree with you about Survivor. I think your observations of the game are almost always spot on. But in the curious case of Erik Reichenbach, I must throw my support behind Stephen Fishbach: the artist formerly known as Survivor’s Biggest Bonehead is playing an underrated game, […]
Even though it has often seemed that alliances might be fluid, and that a shake-up might be impending, the end result at Tribal Council has consistently been the same.
Can that literally spectacular Tribal Council have shifted the whole dynamic of Stealth R Us?
Jeff reminded us that, although Stealth-R-Us have been in control of the game, they are far from a well-oiled machine. Dawn has struggled to control her emotions, Andrea has been courting the enemy and Phillip’s leadership style has worn thin amongst his rivals and allies. We heard Sherri saying it was all crazy. At the […]
