LIVE from the Peppermill Resort in Reno, Nevada, after the WEST COAST broadcast of the 5th episode of Survivor: David vs. Goliath, Rob Cesternino & special guests Adam Klein, Shirin Oskooi, Tyson Apostol, Boston Rob Mariano, and Benjamin “Coach” Wade recap the episode and answer your questions!
In front of a packed house during the Run-It-Up Reno poker tournament, Rob Cesternino with guest Know-It-All Adam Klein took to the stage. Adam immediately noted that his friend Angelina voted for Natalie to stay and gave her a hug after she was voted out because she wanted Natalie’s jacket.
Right away, Rob brought up a surprise guest to join he and Adam in Worlds Apart and Cambodia‘s Shirin Oskoii. She said that she understands Angelina’s desire for a jacket out there given how cold the nights are. She added that she believed that it was definitely not worth getting Lyrsa annoyed with her over potentially getting Natalie’s jacket. When comparing this decision to the one he had in Millennials vs. Gen X, he noted that he had a harder decision because there was no common enemy.
Next up came the winning duo of Tyson Apostol from Tocantins, Heroes vs. Villains, and Blood vs. Water, and Boston Rob Mariano from Marquesas, All-Stars, Heroes vs. Villains, and Redemption Island. Boston Rob noted that in addition to jackets, socks are really important. Tyson said that typically players are only either allowed to have pants or a long-sleeved shirt but not both and thus, sees how these players can be cold at night. Rob also fact-checked Lyrsa’s thoughts on the eggs and saw that she was right.
Lastly, Rob brought up Tocantins, Heroes vs. Villains, and South Pacific castaway Benjamin “Coach” Wade to the panel, who would not give up his jacket on Tocantins. On the orange tribe, Rob noted how Davie is now in a pretty good spot with many options.
When asked about what roles in Slamtown they’d want to have, Coach said that he’d not only like to be mayor but would like to be president. Adam said that he’d like to be the ambassador so that he could leave. Adam also said that he thinks that tribal lines are done now that 2 swap tribes lost their Goliath majority.
