Winner of Survivor: Worlds Apart (Season 30): Mike Holloway
Mike Holloway was named the winner of Survivor: Worlds Apart (Season 30) during the finale on May 20, 2015. He defeated runners-up Will Sims II and Carolyn Rivera by a vote of 6-1-1. At the time of his win, Mike was a 38-year-old oil driller from North Richland Hills, Texas. Mike had a rocky social game that sometimes came off as overbearing but also came off as heroic other times, defending his ostracized tribemates. Mike made it to the end by winning numerous immunity challenges and won through his aggressive game, and benign social game. Mike was the first winner to use a hidden immunity idol to nullify enough votes that would have voted him out of the game.
