Winner of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers (Season 35): Ben Driebergen
Ben Driebergen was named the winner of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers (Season 35) during the finale on December 20, 2017. He defeated runners-up Chrissy Hofbeck and Ryan Ulrich by a vote of 5-3-1. At the time of his win, Ben was a 34-year-old Marine from Boise, Idaho. Ben’s idol plays and underdog status helped him survive despite being a big target and win the game. Ben was the first player to ever play 3 straight hidden immunity idols, negate every vote against him at a tribal council when he voted out Lauren Rimmer, and also played the most imperfect game, receiving 11 votes against him and losing 3 votes at Final Tribal Council. Ben tied the record held by Adam Klein by finding a Hidden Immunity Idol on day 37, the latest discovery ever. Ben was the first winner and beneficiary of the mandated Fire-Making Challenge at the final four.
