East Coast bros Rob Cesternino and Stephen Fishbach Recap CBS’s “Survivor: Worlds Apart” Episode 6, “Odd Woman Out” Live on Survivor Know It Alls on Wednesday, March 25, 2015
Stephen opens the show with a very important question: who gave more delusional soundbites about their security in the game, Max Dawson or Joaquin Souberbielle, who was voted out of the Escameca tribe tonight by a vote of 4-3? Rob thinks Max takes the crown because Joaquin was not telling the viewers what a brilliant mastermind of the game he was. Rob transitions to Sierra’s decision to vote against the members of her original blue collar tribe tonight and get rid of Joaquin instead of Joe.
Stephen feels Joe might not get enough credit for persuading her to make this decision, and while Rob agrees, he also wonders if Mike might be the episode’s MVP for solidifying Cierra’s place in their new alliance. Rob could foresee the rest of the season breaking down into a Team Mike vs. Team Joe season, turning the dwindling members of the original white collar tribe into this season’s Malcolm and Denise-esque swing votes. Stephen believes tonight saw the emergence of the season’s first legitimate winners edit, for Mike.
Other stories discussed from tonight’s episode include Shirin’s attempts to reintegrate herself into the tribe, which actually seemed successful because as Rob notes, Carolyn described her as not being annoying. Rob maintains that now that Shirin has made the merge, she is likely to go farther in the game than she was being vulnerable in the pre-merge phase. Rob and Stephen also discuss Jenn’s place in the game and the unwaveringly positive edit she’s received through the entire season.
