LIVE Recap of Survivor San Juan Del Sur Episode 10, “This is Where We Build Trust” in which Jon Misch and Keith Nale played hidden immunity idols and Wes Nale was voted out 2-0 on November 26, 2014
What a night for the Survivor Know It Alls, as Rob is very thankful to have Stephen joining him in studio to recap a big Survivor episode on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. After Natalie Anderson convinced Jon to play his idol, Wes ended up received the only two valid votes and was sent to the jury. Last week, Stephen and Rob made a bet over how the following three days of the game would play out, vying for the title of Knowiest Know It All of All Time. Neither can be bestowed this honor, however, since Reed Kelly clearly did not prove his strategic prowess in this episode and Keith playing his idol was not predicted.
Stephen agrees with Rob’s confusion over the existence of the third immunity idol, unaware until Jeff Probst’s narration in the “previously on” that the idol John Rocker was voted out with was re-hidden. Natalie and Baylor finding the idol added to a big night for Natalie, and pushed Baylor into a more strategic light for both Stephen and Rob. Stephen feels the events of tonight’s episode only make him more sure that Jon will win the season. Rob feels similarly, but plays devil’s advocate by noting that Jon was tempted out of tonight’s immunity challenge after six minutes by candy.
From tonight’s episode, the Know It Alls also discuss another instance of a Survivor giving up their reward to another player, the somewhat strange lack of any footage of Wes on Exile Island between the challenges, and the endurance immunity challenge featuring the return of classic food temptations. Rob also posits whether or not Wes referring to Probst’s guest appearance on “Two and a Half Men” is the greatest moment not just in Survivor history, but the history of all television.
