Every single week, Survivor legend Rob Cesternino brings you a plethora of podcasts covering each episode of the season. In addition, multiple cast preview podcasts and post game retrospectives occur in the preseason and postseason. Here are all the podcasts that happen each week:
Former two-time Survivor contestants and owners of a combined 118 days in the game, Rob and Stephen Fishbach come to you LIVE every Wednesday night at 9:15 PM ET on Rob Has a Podcast, immediately following each week’s episode, and they break down their initial reactions to everything in the episode.
The day after every episode, Rob interviews the player(s) voted out of the game in that episode. He then plays the “This Week in Survivor History” quiz hosted by Jordan Kalish against a guest.
Soon after the episode, Rob conducts a deep dive recap of the episode with a former Survivor player. In this podcast, Rob and his guest discuss the decision-making, strategy, and absurdity of CBS’s original reality competition experiment in great detail.
Later in the week, Rob and his guest who is either a former Survivor player or RHAP podcaster, take feedback in various forms from the listeners of the podcast, including voicemails, emails, and much more. They discuss various game moves and also laugh at the absurd moments in a more laid back recap of the episode.
Lastly, Rob is joined by his friend and Survivor press writer Josh Wigler in a two-part podcast. They first discuss their thoughts on all the strategy, alliances, deals, and silliness from the week’s episode. In the second part of the episode, Rob and Josh listen to song parodies of the episode submitted by listeners in a weekly song competition called the “Wandoff.”
Additionally, two more podcasts are made each week by other RHAP podcasters that appear in the “Reality TV RHAP-ups” feed and those are:
Mike Bloom and Liana Boraas invite you into the RHAP B&B in a fun-and-games podcast where they and their guest play various fun and silly games related to the week’s episode.
Why ____ Lost
David Bloomberg and former Survivor player Jessica Lewis try to discern why the voted out player(s) lost the game each week using a set of rules created by David after season one.
