Survivor 38 Bonus Coverage: Dalton Ross on “The Ultimate Blindside”
In a special bonus Survivor podcast, Rob Cesternino is joined by Entertainment Weekly Survivor writer Dalton Ross to discuss his new 14,000 word essay. The essay was an oral history on what he called the greatest Survivor moment ever: when Erik Reichenbach was fooled into giving up individual immunity at the final five of Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites, a moment that aired 11 years ago today.
Dalton interviewed the victim of the move, Erik Reichenbach, the four members of the “Black Widow Brigade” Parvati Shallow, Amanda Kimmel, Cirie Fields, and Natalie Bolton, members of the jury Eliza Orlins and Ozzy Lusth, as well as executive producers Jeff Probst and Matt Van Wagenen, to get their takes on every moment surrounding “The Ultimate Blindside.”
