Watch the Show on YouTube – RSVP for the LIVE Event
Tonight on the $25 Big Brother PyRHAPmid, host Rob Cesternino (@RobCesternino) is joined by two alumni of Big Brother, season 14 winner Ian Terry (@TulaneTerry) and season 12 Brigade member Matt Hoffman (@HeadOfHOFFhold), to compete to help two fans win free live feeds!
Allison Grodner is standing behind Ian Terry as he competes tonight from Sequester. Rob wanted to do a reunion of the three Big Brother players from “Reality Game Masters”, but could not get a hold of Eric Stein.
The first of the Big Brother fan players is Randy Rice, who says he is more excited to play with Ian because he aligns better with him and that Matt is too cool for him. The second player was the winner of “Big Brother Jeopardy”, Mike Harlow. Although there was a scoring malfunction last time Mike played, Rob hopes there will not be a malfunction this time!
The categories tonight are:
- Age Before Beauty
- All Reillied Up
- Tied up in Nots
- Crazy 8’s
- Off the Job
- Sticks and Stones
The person guessing the clues will be wearing a blindfold and working off of the honor system. The clues will appear on the screen for the person giving the clues.
Round 1
The first team to compete is Ian and Randy, and they have chosen the category “Off The Job”, which is occupations that houseguests have listed for their CBS Bios.
Ian will be giving the clues and Randy will be guessing. Ian and Randy completed Round 1 with a score of 5 points, after one clue was deducted when Ian said a word in the phrase in the clue. Randy thinks 5 is a pretty good benchmark, although Matt and Mike think that they can beat it.
Matt and Mike have chosen the category “All Reillied Up”, which is things associated with Rachel Reilly. Matt is excited to be a part of this category, because he played with Rachel in BB12. Matt and Mike got a clean sweep of the category, leading Matt to say “You can never go wrong with Rachel ever!”
Round 2:
The person giving the clues in Round 1 will now be guessing them in Round 2, meaning Randy and Mike will be giving the clues to Ian and Matt. Randy and Ian are up first, and they have chosen “Crazy 8’s”, which is Big Brother houseguests who came in 8th place. Randy made the controversial move not to use Big Brother clues, and it became a disaster, adding only 2 points to the total bringing him to 8 points. Randy blamed his downfall on being a little too excited.
Mike will be giving the clues to Matt next, and they have chosen the category “Sticks and Stones” which all are insults you may be called in the Big Brother house. Although it came down to the wire and we had to check the replay on the last answer to see if it made it in on time, Matt and Mike added 5 points to their score, bringing Mike’s total to 12 points.
Round 3:
Randy and Ian are going first this time, and they need to get more than four correct to put pressure on Mike and Matt. For this final round Ian will be describing the clues to Randy, and they have chosen “Tied Up in Nots”, which is all about foods that America chose to give to the Have Nots.
While Randy is having technical difficulties with his webcam, Ian and Matt speculate what the twist may be for BB16. Ian thinks Eric may be America’s Player 2 and Matt agrees with him. Rob agrees with them and says that no one will see it coming twice.
Randy and Ian finished with four points, bringing their total up to 12. This means they are tied with Matt and Mike, and if Matt and Mike receive one point in the final category, they will win the game and Mike will have a chance to win Big Brother live feeds.
Matt will be giving the clues to Mike, and they will be doing “Age Before Beauty” which consists of the oldest houseguests in their respective seasons. Matt and Mike only received three points, but that was all they needed to advance Mike to the Bonus Round.
Winners’ Circle:
For this Bonus Round, Matt will be giving the clues and Mike will be guessing the answers. Matt will say things that fall into a certain category, and Mike will have to guess the category. Despite sweeping most of the categories, Matt and Mike get stuck on the category “Unpopular Big Brother Players”. Despite Matt’s best efforts using clues like “Adam Posh” (much to his dismay) and “The entire cast of BB1”, Mike did not use the specific term and he danced around it saying things like “No-Names” and “Losers”. According to the judges, Mike did not get it right, and he ends up with a total of 800 points out of a possible 1050.
However, the game has been reset, as we are going into another game, this time with Randy working with Matt and Mike working with Ian. The categories for this game are:
- Reversal of Fortune
- Masters of Disguise
- Star Stuck
- Boogie Nights
- A Basket Case
- But First…
Round 1:
Ian and Mike are going first, and they have chosen to pick the “Masters of Disguise” category, which are costumes that players have had to wear in the Big Brother house. Mike got 6 points out of a possible 7, meaning the pressure is on Randy and Matt.
For this round, Matt will be giving the clues to Randy and they will be doing the category “Star Struck” which are all celebrity non-contestants who have appeared on Big Brother. They only got three points, meaning Mike is in the lead, 6-3 going into round 2.
Round 2:
Mike will be giving the clues to Ian for this one, and they will be doing “Reversal of Fortune” which are people who were HoH and were evicted the next week. Ian was able to do a clean sweep of the category, bringing Mike’s total to 13 points.
Randy and Matt will need at least three points to not be mathematically eliminated. Randy will be giving the clues to Matt this round and they have chosen the category “A Basket Case” which are items a contestant might get in their HoH basket. Randy and Matt got 6 out of 7 right, bringing their total to 9 points.
Round 3:
Since Randy and Matt are trailing, they are going first. Matt will be giving the clues to Randy. They need to get at least 4 to stay alive, and they have chosen the category “Boogie Nights” which are things associated with Mike Boogie. After not knowing “Chilltown”, Randy and Matt have fallen one point short of tying Mike and Ian.
Although Mike is already going back into the Winners’ Circle, Mike and Ian have elected to play the round anyways. Ian will be giving the clues to Mike and the category is “But First…”, which are things associated with Julie Chen. After getting 4 right, Mike is going back to the Winners’ Circle and Randy has been eliminated. In his parting words, Randy says “You’re welcome” to Mike because he was never going to win this game.
Winners’ Circle:
The bonus round works the same as before, this time with Mike giving the clues to Ian. After almost getting disqualified for saying the clue, Ian is able to decipher the clues from Mike fast enough for Mike to win the Big Brother live feeds!
Congratulations, Mike Harlow for winning the $25 PyRHAPmid Live! Tomorrow, Julie Chen will be revealing the big twist for Big Brother 16 on The Talk. Thanks to Travis and Tim from http://www.homegameenterprizes.com for helping the game go off without a hitch.
Matt recently talked to Annie from BB12, who was the saboteur from that season. They talked for 45 minutes and Annie is doing well and still sabotaging things down in Florida.
Watch Ian Terry and Mike Play “Big Brother Jeopardy”!
