Rob Cesternino and Brian Lynch are live discussing Big Brother Canada 2’s Finale.
Jon Pardy Wins Big Brother Canada 2014 After He Evicts Neda at the Final 3
Rob and Brian cover the entire final episode of Big Brother Canada 2 including the HOH competition, special guest Dan Gheesling and his CIA earpiece, the jury, and how Jon Pardy won the game.
Diving right in, Rob and Brian discuss Jon voting out Neda, how there were no real clues at this event occurring, and how the likelihood of Jon making this decision could not be foreseen in the Diary Room. Rob says this moment was the climax of the episode, with Brian wanting to have seen more of Neda and Jon after his vote.
Rob asks Brian, “Who was betta: Jon or Neda?” Brian says Jon was betta because he won and can’t argue with the result. The podcast focuses on how Neda could win the game, and the podcasters run through the scenarios in which Neda could have won the game, her downfalls, and what caused her to finish in third place. Brian delivers a beautiful eulogy for Neda after pumping her up throughout the season.
Rob recaps their pre-season predictions: Rob chose Jon to win while Brian chose Neda. The podcasters continue with Rob asking Brian to rank Jillian and Emmett from season one with Jon and Neda. Brian ranks Jon, Neda, and Emmett as the best players in the Canadian series. Rob asks Brian to compare Neda against some Big Brother U.S. alums next.
Rob and Brian respond to a series of questions about the finale, breaking into discussions on part three of the final HOH competition, the power plays throughout the season, questions on who played whose game and Sabrina’s game play. Rob identifies Jon as an opportunist, playing the game through a combination of winning and strategy.
