Rob Cesternino recaps Big Brother 17 Episode 8 LIVE on Thursday, July 9, 2015 with regular guest, Ian Terry, BB14 winner, and discusses the latest news from the Big Brother Live Feeds with Live Feed Reporter, Brent Wolgamott.
Rob Cesternino, Ian Terry and Brent Wolgamott are live on 9th July, 2015 to recap episode 8 of Big Brother 17 where we saw Da’Vonne become the second houseguest evicted.
Rob was sad that his winner pick Da’Vonne was evicted tonight. The Kathy Griffen week didn’t really work for Brent because the twist didn’t matter in the end, Brent felt that Da’Vonne’s power wasn’t powerful enough. For Ian the twist was powerful enough. Rob points out that this twist was like telling the house there is a twist but there actually isn’t one. Ian is happy that the BB takeover has made no real impact on the game yet. Rob finds it amusing how Big Brother is trying to appeal to all demographics with the takeover guests.
Rob is very confused about what twist Gronk is bringing to the game. Ian points out that having no have-nots this early is a tip of what is to come, Ian think there is going to be solitary confinement this week. Brent says he is a little suspicious that Julie did not announce what the twist is exactly because now production can change it to suit them.
Ian thinks Da’Vonne is a decent player who has a good read on people however he also says that her emotions can get ahead of her which Ian thinks is one of the most important qualities you need to have. Brent points out that she wasn’t able to play nice with people.
Ian doesn’t think that he would have able to tell the twins apart if he was in the game. Rob was surprised that Big Brother didn’t show a split screen to compare the two twins. Ian didn’t even notice the weight difference between them but Brent points out that it is mainly in the face. Brent also points out that the main difference between the twins was that their personalities were so different. Bring thinks that if Da’Vonne wasn’t in the house the twin twist would have gone off without a hitch.
Ian does not think that there would be any backlash if a houseguest but Audrey on the block from America and both Brent and rob agree. However Brent thinks that it was a factor in Shelli not nominating Audrey. Brent points out that it has been an undercurrent of it in the house. Rob is impressed that we haven’t heard a single comment from any houseguests which has been offensive to Audrey.
Ian thinks that Audrey is an almost lock to go home especially if Venessa remains as HoH. Brent thinks that it might be possible for Vanessa to go after someone other than Audrey as a more strategic target.
Rob, Ian and Brent also discuss what happened on the live feeds during the week. Brent tells us the latest news regarding the twin twists. He tells us that Julia revealed herself to Vanessa. Ian thinks that this was a good move by the twins and Ina thinks is going to use this information and weaponise them. Rob actually thinks that the twins will make it to week 5 given their current situation. Brent also tells us about the new alliance which includes the twins.
