Aysha’s Love at First Sight Podcast
Listen to all RHAP’s Survivor 47 content!
Rob Has a Podcast and the entire RHAP community congratulates Aysha Welch on joining the cast of Survivor 47!
In 2020, when Rob first met Aysha, it was love at first sight. Technically, “Love at First Sight” came later, but there was no doubt about it: Aysha was a reality television aficionado who needed to get behind a microphone, and fast.
Over the last four years and counting, Aysha has wielded that microphone with extraordinary insight and empathy, pioneering the widely-loved Love at First Sight podcast feed, in which she talks about “Married at First Sight” with Jason Reed and “Love is Blind” with Mary Kwiatkowski. She is also prolifically involved in RHAP’s Big Brother podcasting coverage, regularly joining Taran Armstrong on his daily live feed updates.
Aysha Welch on Survivor
On the Survivor front, Aysha’s super-fan status has been on full display every season since Survivor 41, participating in our preseason winner pick drafts… every year, of course, until this one. Because now, Aysha isn’t just a Survivor podcaster. Now, she’s a Survivor player, and we get to watch as she forges her own path toward the million dollars.
“I’m so curious about learning about people,” Aysha told RHAP’s very own Mike Bloom before the season began. “And also I want it to be genuine. That’s something that Cirie was able to do masterfully, was connect with people on a genuine level. I want them to feel like it’s not my strategy. Because I am smart. What I do for a living, it requires a certain level of intelligence. And I believe that I would be a physical threat because I’ve played basketball my entire life. I can lift pretty heavy, and so I have endurance. And so I feel like that part of myself I want to be able to utilize, especially to help my tribe. But I don’t want them to think that my social game is my strategy. Because then I feel like it will help people genuinely like me, maybe even love me. I want people to fall in love in the shortest amount of time ever.”
