Exit Interview with Taylor Stocker, the Latest Player Who Got Voted Off Survivor Millennials vs. Gen X.

Tribal Council

In this week’s Exit Interview, Taylor Lee Stocker joins Rob to discuss this week’s explosive tribal council. Going into tribal council, Taylor suspected that it would be either him or Justin “Jay” Starrett that would be going home. With that in mind, Taylor said that both him and Justin stuffed their faces with food and hopeful they would be able to sway the vote. Rob then asked if Taylor and Justin planned out their allegations and Taylor admitted that they just winged it. Taylor felt that if he made up an allegation and others believed him then he could make up other allegations.

Ruthlessness

Rob asked if Taylor felt bad for putting Adam Klein under the bus and Taylor laughingly answered no. Taylor believes that Survivor is a game that requires ruthlessness. Claiming that he made peace with Adam, Taylor claims that it was nothing personal and only part of the game. When Adam approached Taylor, Taylor did think there was a possibility of him continuing on in the game. However, Taylor stated that he had to accept the position that he had created for himself.

Teaming With Gen-X

When asked if there were any talks of an alliance with Gen-X, Taylor explained how closely knit that group was. There were no opportunities for Taylor to strategize with Gen-X, who really wanted to team up with Chris Hammons. Rob then asked if stealing the food was a factor and Taylor didn’t believe it was. Taylor elaborated that most thought it was hilarious and believed that the others were thinking about solely at their game. Taylor still attempt to try to reach out to Chris, but in the end it proved costly to Taylor.

Plot Against Adam

Rob asked Taylor if he expected Adam Klein to go home instead of Michelle Schubert and Taylor did expect Adam would get more votes. However, Taylor didn’t know exactly who was all planning to vote for Adam. Another factor that Taylor wasn’t quite sure of was Adam’s hidden immunity idol. While Taylor did suspect that Adam did have the idol in his possession due to him being comfortable.

Figgy Going Home

Later, Rob asked Taylor if he suspected that Adam would flip his vote for him and Jessica “Figgy” Figueroa. Taylor remembered he did have a feeling that Adam would, recalling a conversation he had with Jessica about her chances of going home. When asked why they sent Jessica home rather than him, Taylor believed that it was because Jessica established herself as the strategist. Taylor’s reasoning was that Jessica stuck her neck out planning, allowing Taylor to remain hidden in the background. Not intending to take anyway from the strategist Jessica was, Taylor elaborated that he intentionally didn’t do the work.

Figgy and Taylor

Rob asked Taylor the inevitable question of what went wrong in the relationship? When they both came back from the island, Taylor mentioned how personal and family issues came about. Taylor ultimately had to call it quits and regrets hurting Jessica. In hindsight, if he could change his strategy he would in order to spare Jessica’s feelings. When asked about the timeline of the relationship, Taylor answered that they had broken up sometime in July, before the show aired. When Rob mentioned what Jessica said during their interview, Taylor felt that it was because she was upset and didn’t quite handle it maturely.

Taylor and Survivor

Rob asked if Taylor was a fan of Survivor and Taylor explained how he watched the show at a young age and identified with the players. Taylor explains how being in Survivor was one of the most extreme experiences he’s ever had, but he’s always been looking to gain new experiences. Later on, Rob tries to extend his winning streak to 8 weeks, taking on Jordan Kalish again for another week of “This Week in Survivor History Quiz Show.”
