Recapping a 2-hour episode of Survivor San Juan Del Sur on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in which Reed Kelly and Alec Christy are voted out and sent to the jury
Stephen is a little miffed to come home from work and find Rob immediately wants to talk Survivor strategy with him, but the two are able to reconcile and talk about tonight’s big two hour episode. Rob thought that tonight’s two votes were exciting and somewhat unexpected, but Stephen recalls this is more or less what the pair predicted what would happen on last week’s podcast.
Rob feels his excitement could largely be due to the up and down gameplay from Natalie Anderson tonight, believing that her great gameplay early in the night was hurt by choosing to blindside most of her allies and vote out Alec instead of Keith in the second hour. Rob chalks the play up to a classic Survivor mistake of being blinded by the desire to make a big move, even if one isn’t actually there for you to make. Stephen agrees, feeling that she had Jon in her crosshairs but once he won immunity, was left with only a rather trivial way to blindside or irritate him in the game.
From there, the Know It Alls discuss the result of the first reward challenge, where the majority alliance’s decision to play together caused Jeff Probst to prematurely end the challenge out of frustration and just give the win to Muffin. They also talk about Jon’s perplexing reaction to returning from Exile Island and being frustrated at Jaclyn trying to catch him up on what he’d missed at camp.
