Rob Has a Podcast

Pre-Heat Ovens to LIVE: Rob Has a Web Show on 11/22

It’s Thanksgiving week and Rob Cesternino and Nicole are back for another edition of Rob Has a Web Show, which is made possible with the help of the people at Vokle. Rob and Nicole begin the show talking about the release of Survivor: The Amazon on DVD on Amazon.com. Rob even has his Survivor: The Amazon coffee cup which Nicole doesn’t like because it doesn’t match her coffee cup.

Rob and Nicole talk about what their house is like on Thanksgiving. Nicole hates Turkey, cranberry sauce and Pumpkin pie while Rob loves it. Instead of Turkey on Thanksgiving, Nicole only wants to make macaroni for dinner. The only thing that Nicole likes about Thanksgiving is watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade so that she can see Santa and the twirling batons.

Following Thanksgiving, many people like to start doing their shopping on Black Friday. Rob plays a commercial for Kohl’s featuring the Rebecca Black Song “Friday” (which Rob and Nicole did an entire podcast about in the spring). Rob wonders why Kohl’s didn’t actually use Rebecca Black since it was a “BLACK Friday” sale.

Rob and Nicole answer some Survivor related questions and discuss the topic which of the Muppets would have the best chance to win Survivor. Rob suspects that either Kermit the Frog or Rowlf would be the winner of Muppet Survivor because they are the most well rounded. When the question is asked of which Survivor would do best with the Muppets, Rob acts out a scene of Kermit the Frog talking with Russell Hantz about the hidden immunity idol.

As a special Thanksgiving treat, Rob brings out the Magic 8-ball from Survivor: The Amazon and allows the audience to ask the 8-ball questions. It looks like Ozzy won’t win at Redemption Island this week, Russell Hantz is the greatest Survivor of All-Time and the Jets playoff chances are still very much up in the air.

Rob reminds everybody to join us again on Black Friday, 11/25 at 12pm EST / 9am PST to discuss this week’s episode of Survivor with Jeff Pittman from True Dork Times. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
