This event sounds awesome, I wish it was in NY.

There was a reality fundraiser in downtown Toronto one time near where I lived. At first I thought it would be kinda – I dunno – silly to check something like this out. It would be like the SNL sketch “The Chris Farley Show” – I’d be like “Uhhhhh…do you remember when you were on that show, Survivor? Man that was AWESOME!”

But then I just said “Ah, what the hell…” and went and…I’m really glad I did. We all just hung out at this bar on Front St. and I wandered around and chatted it up. Lex was cool beans (I knew he would be). Coby was the hit of the party (Palau had just ended) and it didn’t feel like I was some lame fanboy at all.

So my point is…if you can go, check it out. Good on you Rob for taking the time to promote the event with this show. And good on Gillian – this is NO small undertaking from the sounds of it, and it sounds like a great time for a good cause. Gillian really seems like a sweet, funny lady!

um, yeah… that was awesome. LOL… love it.

Rob, this was an example of what Shane Powers called “sucking knee caps”…. you could’ve made this a little more interesting if you had brought up her kicking out and boycotting Fairplay from this event. Of course, maybe you were baiting her with the “concern” question and she didn’t bite.

In all seriousness, this was actually pretty fun. I listened out of desperation and I am glad I did.

Its funny, cuz on her season, I wasn’t a big fan of Gillian… and I’m definitely still not a fan, HOWEVER… i really love her passion for this and i totally respect her dedication to such a worthy cause.
