oh and id say heroes vs villains is my fav one ever, even with it not being done.

do you think playing the idol should lead to a financial penalty if played if you win the game? i feel like it would make it more interesting and it would make the idol play less frequent. I personally like the idol, but when its played so often iget a little annoyed, but thats just me personally.

The problem would be that there just wouldn't be enough character development. We'd have to go through potentially 4 challenges if they don't cut out the rewards. The entire game would be individual from the beginning.

No it wasn't a wasted idol with Sandra, her (Parvati) alliance was only 4 at the time and it was 4 this week. You don't save Sandra, you might draw rocks. I honestly think it would of been better for the heroes to focus on Sandra (not knowing of 2 II) at the time, she told you it was Russell led group of 4, thanks for the info… bye! You have a 5-4 lead now… Rupert isn't that smart though and it would require you to trick Sandra, but it's possible.

Also it wasn't her play that caused the problems at villains camp, it's Russell's ego. No “nice job” because they are still intact… He has to be in control, that's his problem. His ego wanting to be in control has now set up the game to a point where no one is incontrol. Russell's fault, not Parvati.

Parvati is not going anywhere even if Russell cuts ties, he's the most hated in the game. Parv would still have DDL, Jerri and Sandra (a wild card but would benefit by playing with Parv) that wants Russell out. Candice is Russell's only person left 100% on his side (in his mind). That leaves Rupert and Colby. Sandra is sitting pretty, as she can play either side. Russell will have to dupe another hero. Parvati might no longer be the biggest target at the moment.

I've long thought that, to mix things up, they should start one season of Survivor with there only being one tribe of, say, 18-20 people. All challenges and immunities would initially be individual. After a few tribal councils, the tribe should then be split into two groups, before finally combining again into one tribe for the final 10 or so people. At least this way every member of the jury would be familiar with the Final Two/Three (unlike in the current season where Coach and Courtney were never part of the merged tribe).

Coach, Kenny, Randy, Brooks were in a radio studio. Then they all went to a concert where Coach was the conductor. Tyson was there as well. In the last part of the video, Coach and Randy were messing around with a hose or something.

comments about the podcast: being as tired as i am i will be honest and say i cant remember a whole lot, with the exception of the end (perhaps i should write down my thoughts during the podcast) it was really interesting to hear from eliza and her thoughts especially considering she played with both parvati and amanda. if what i just wrote makes sense, yay

question for rob and nicole: considering none of these survivors on this season knew about russell, put yourself in the shoes of a contestant on this season, how would you handle playing survivor with russell this season not knowing his strategy or anything like that? (eg would you be able to see thru his lies, would you eat up everything he says?) sorry if its a difficult non sensical question, perhaps im overthinking too much but thats all i can think of for this week

I disagree with Eliza I don't think Parvati should have given Sandra the idol, especially since the week before she was making so much fun of JT for giving an idol away to someone you can't trust. Not to take away from her brilliant reading of the situation.

Would perhaps the best strategy for the Heroes/Sandra to get Russell out to slip him a fake clue that there is a hidden immunity idol on Ponderosa? Then he may plant some Russell seeds to get himself voted out.

Speaking of Russell Hantz, with him being such a huge part of the season it would be great to have Natalie from Samoa as a guest on your show, since she is the one person up to this point that has been able to outplay him. It would also be interesting to hear her thoughts on Parvati who is also playing Russell but in a very different way to how Natalie did. Althouhg I know there's a limited number of shows so understand if you can't get her.

I think that it's a possibility that if Candice had known Sandra was down for flipping over to the Heroes BEFORE Russell approached her she would've stayed with the Heroes. But she had already talked to Russell and said she would and then once she found out Russell also had the idol she was terrified of not doing what she said she would.

This was a hilarious podcast Rob & Nicole, one of the best yet.

Hey Rob, I just finished listening to all of your survivor podcasts. You're my favorite survivor of all time. I still remember the first time I saw survivor (Amazon) like 6 years ago, I immediately became a fan.
