OMFG YES!!!!!!!!! Regan = Roger… even though I've only seen like 3 or 4 episodes. Roger is the gay alien right?

Also, I'm Team Nicole on the Rachel vs Regan thing. From what I have seen, Rachel started attacking Regan for no reason. Every time she would try to insult him he would put her in her place. Honestly, I'm rooting for Regan/Brittany in F2. But I think Matt is playing the best game right now.

I can see Matt winning the entire thing. He has two strong alliances he can go with, The Brigade or Regan/Brittany. It would be smart for Matt to jump from The Brigade to go with Regan/Brittany, because he appeared to figure out The Brigade was going to vote for him before Lane so he would be the 4th wheel if he stays with The Brigade. With Regan/Brittany hes guaranteed 3rd and Regan would take him to F2.

Also, with every person in the house hating Brendan, do you think it would be smart for everyone to try to keep Brendan to take him to the F2? He's pretty much only getting one, maybe two votes from the Jury.

On a side note, which has nothing related to BB nor Jersey Shore, but what do you think about a Survivor Brains vs Brawn season. You have you physical gods on one team (think Ozzie) and you diabolical geniuses on another (think you and Stephen Fishbach). I think that would make for an interesting season.

i definitely agree rachel made big brother exciting. since she left there isnt all that much drama or excitement, it made for such a great episode when she returned. i feel she was going after ragan, examples being singling him out just after she got in the house and going up to him taunting him with cookies knowing that he was a have not. kathys eviction was predictable and was the most logical and strategic thing to do with the dpov because kathy was always seen as someone they can use as a scapegoat, a throw away eviction if there came a situation where they didnt know what to do about evictions. being probably the only kathy supporter i even saw it coming now the poor thing has to put up with rachel chasing her around the house asking for an apology all week. i can see britney putting up brendan for eviction for so many reasons and hopefully she puts enzo or hayden up with him. worst comes to worst brendan wins pov and brit just replaces him with enzo or hayden, whoever isnt nominated. i definitely dont think either of them have really been playing the game at all. sure theyre in some alliance thingy but thats it. other than that theyre as useful as lawn ornaments. my ideal final four would be britney, ragan, matt and lane. not sure if either of you are still thinking about getting previous big brother contestants to be on your podcast but would be really really reeeeeeeeallllly super awesome cool if eric from bb8 brought his imput to your podcast, especially after ragan and the whole saboteur thing, it would be awesome to see what he thought of it. welcome back to the both of you, hope the honeymoon went swimmingly. as always, great podcast!…and i need to find a new way to end my comments

It's a shame Kathy was voted off before we got to see her tear it up in the challenges. She kept saying she was throwing the challenges so nobody would perceive her as a threat. I bet in reality she's super strong AND super smart.

On another side note, I read somewhere a while ago (think it was at Survivor Sucks not too sure) that Hayden did a reverse you. He apparently originally applied for Survivor but was cast for Big Brother instead.

Rachel totally deserved everything she got in that fight imo. She had been making snide comments about Ragan's sexuality and was having sly digs at him since she came back into the house, she also told others that one of the main reasons she came back was to ruin Matt/Ragan/Britney's game. She went outside looking for a fight and she got one.

Why does everyone think that Matt will win? He is quite possibly in the worst position in the house at the moment. Everyone bar Ragan does not trust him and has been plotting to get rid of him ASAP, they also think none of them would beat Matt in the finals as he has played a strong game. At least with Brendon people want him around as they think they can get him to do their dirty work for them and that they can beat him at the end. Ragan quite simply has almost zero chance of winning, I don't even think he could beat Brendon at this stage (Hayden/Enzo/Rachel/Kathy would vote for him). Hate to break it to you Rob but your picks have no chance.

Just so you know Matt was officially kicked out of the alliance so its just the 3 remaining guys. They go quiet whenever he enters the room these days and only talk game with him when they absolutely have to.

It shows the power of BB editing. Everyone I've talked who watched the live feed says Hayden is playing the best game at the moment (by an absolute mile), he is fantastic at lying straight to your face and everyone trusts him/has deals with him. Almost everyone who just watches the show thinks the exact opposite.

What happened with Brendon and his nominations was weird. He told Hayden/Enzo/Lane that he was putting Britney and Ragan up, he then told Britney he was putting her up before getting called to the DR for 2 hours. He came out and then tried to make some sort of deal with Britney before nominations. I think he told Matt that he was going to put him up at some point as well. I had heard that the DR told him he couldn't put Britney up now but that makes no sese at all, I'd guess the DR just manipulated him into thinking Lane/Ragan was a good idea.

Just for you Rob some of the zingbot 3000 quotes, it had two 'ZINGS!' for everyone.

Hayden is the favorite to win this. He has a final two deal with Enzo, a final 3 deal with Lane and Britney. Matt and Ragan are probable the next two to be evicted. Matt is on the outs of the brigade, and Britney is now the fourth member.

Also interesting is Brendon went from being public enemy number one to being an unofficial member of the brigade.

I guess Rachel was told by the producers to be as bitchy and over the top as possible to make sure they had enough stuff to show on tv. She was a little too offensive, but for me it was all worthy in the name of good television.Rachel was really the star of the season and I guess she's going to be the only player from season 12 to make All-Stars (no one besides her deserves that). She was target since DAY 2/3 because Jordan won last season and people thought showmances win because of that.

That's my second season of Big Brother and, comparing to BB11, this season SUCKS. Last year, he had lots of drama (Chima-gate, the catfight in the HoH after Chima's expulsion, Russell's last day, Ronnie being bullyed…), some great strategy (Natalie and Kevin telling lies to everyone, Jeff's Coup D'Etat…) and some awesome players (Michele, Kevin, Natalie, Jeff, Jordan, Russell, Jessie, Chima and Lydia). Actually, this season REALLY SUCKS. No drama, no strategy and no good players (Britney is good sometimes now, but she's stupid when it comes to the game).

I really hope that Matt and Ragan both go home this week. I can't stand them! Oh, my god! I hate them more than I hated Ronnie last year!

PS: Rob, you really were a villain on The Amazon. You were alligned with the bitches (Jenna and Heidi), then you changed the whole game almost every single week (which is awesome, because there was no HII back then) and your confessionals were really villain-ish because you were always laughing at someone (especially on Rodger's boot, which is the most hilarious episode of Survivor ever!).

Hayden also has a final 2 deal with Britney, although it has only been mentioned like once since they made the deal, and another final 2 deal with Lane which is abit more official. Pretty sure he has some sort of deal with Brendon as well but I can't remember what it entails at the moment.

Matt's best chance to win would have been to use his Diamond POV speech to out the Brigade and put up a second Brigade member in his place. Then he could have aligned with the rest of the house to get the remaining 2 Brigade members out over the next two weeks. After that, align with Brendon to get to the final two, since Matt and Brendon have a great shot at winning the remaining challenges if their only competition is Brit/Kath/Ragan. Jury vote is 6 to 1 in favor of Matt with Rachel the only holdout.

I was kind of hoping you guys would talk more about it, but…why Kathy? Everyone I know is defending the move, but I still say it should have been Enzo. By putting up Kathy and throwing the HOH, Matt was trying to not pick a side. However, he's going to have to pick a side IMMEDIATELY because there are no pawns/floaters left. Hell, he even confirmed his mistake on the CBS episode by saying, “Enzo is my main target.” Then why not just put him up and boot him last week? He's clearly #4 in the Brigade, and his allegiance is apparently to Ragan+Britney now, so why boot a floater over Enzo/Hayden last week? The self-proclaimed diabolical super-genius is delaying an inevitable decision, only he no longer has the power to make it. Plus, while he may have booted a non-ally, Kathy was never going to win anything, so why target her when she will never be able to target you?

As you said in the podcast, alliances always crumble, and it's always a contest to see who will backstab their ally first. By not doing it last week, Matt has left himself in a position where Hayden+Enzo+Lane now have all the incentive in the world to try to backstab HIM first. Since Matt's new alliance (Ragan+Britney) only has one vote if he ends up on the block, he can't really defend against a Brigade backstab. It's just poor strategy by Matt, and it's a huge waste of the DPOV.

When you were wrapping up Amazon did you ever think you would be podcasting about if motorboating is cheating or not…by far best part of the podcast.
I never thought about that, but had some drunken conversations over the weekend with girlfriends, and decided not cheating if it leads to nothing further and is only done in fun.

I would *think* that Big Brother did not switch things up. For some reason I feel like I read something that BB keeps things pretty consistent with HOH. Certain week is questions, endurance, double eviction, etc during every season. If I find some time I will look into it more. They are all pretty good studies of past seasons and have predicted what will happen each week from prior seasons, even down to the POV what just happened. They all pretty much knew which competition it would be.

What I would like to know from a previous BB contestant is, do they pick random spots? I know Probst always says “Let's draw for spots and get started”. Does BB also do that, or does BB tell them which place is theirs (like the rope Brendon HOH win). If they draw for spots then it is hard to say things are unfair. ALSO when the coup was used Chima got to compete in the next HOH, why was Brendon not allowed to compete again when his HOH was a waste to his game?

How is Roger like Regan? Roger is a drunk/drug addict/tail chaser that only cares about himself. Maybe because they both want to belong to something..but not sure where Rob was going with that.

As of now, I think Lane and Haydon are pretty good positions to win. I bet 50 cents at least one of them will be sitting in the final two. I actually like Lane, and Brit the best. I think the worst thing can happen, here and in Survivor is when people feel too comfortable. I hated how Matt clearly threw that competition to try and save jury votes. When it gets down this far, you need to go balls out and stop pussy footing around, and win HOH. Things change so fast your fate is really only in your hands and winning competitions. On that note, no Enzo did not win HOH or anything but he has been a close second a few times. The POV which Brit won with the money case, he was off by what…5 seconds from the exact time? This HOH, so he is not a complete dodo, there has always just been someone a bit ahead of him.

Ohhh Regan…I bet if CBS polled America they would vote to NOT give Regan the 20K. He did not earn that. It was insane. America's player and even when Dan was it for only a week did not get to pick and had way more entertaining things! Maybe they did not want to make it like previous seasons, but those were entertaining, don't fix what was not broke.

Final BB comments: This week is going to be insane, I think you should podcast about it Thursday and not wait until next Monday. I do agree with splitting up the shore and BB. I love the bashing..laughing out loud goodness about Matt's hair and hand down the pants.

JS2: I officially feel sorry for Sammi Sweetheart. I used to be annoyed but after Thursdays show…I see where she is coming from more. From a girl who has been where she was, in my personal experience if you love someone you want to believe the best in them, even if they do horrid things. It is hard to believe/admit you are in love with someone that can cheat on you. Those sweet little moments somehow seem to make up ten fold for those bad moments. IMO. I do feel she is one step away from a TMZ banged up photo though.
I think you are right about Ronnie and wanting to have the fame like the Situation and Pauly do, but I also think it could have to do with last season he got so much flack about not going out, and always being with Sammi and not 'making the most' out of the situation(not the person). I think he is torn between making the most, and being with Sammi.

Survivor S21 pre-podcast! And what happened with True Blood? This season has been amazing. Great podcast again!

concerning the BB hoh competitions rigged…. i agree with Nicole. i dont necessarily think it might be changing order of competitions as to when they are presented to the contestants, but i think it is very easy to say, make the green rope the easiest to untangle (not nearly as many knots as the other color ropes) and assign who they want to win to the green rope.

concerning rachel versus ragan… i agree with Rob on this one…. i think Ragan was too harsh and too personal. she came in “guns a blazin” dont get me wrong, but you have to remember, the previous day she was just voted out of the hosue unaninmously.

Ragan seemed relentless and really mean, much more so than she did….. what, she asked if he wanted cookies as a have-not? gimme a break. he called her a devil child, a vile human being, made fun of her bad boob job and her extentions, her skin problems, etc… and what did she say, that he was bad at being gay? whatever… that isnt even that bad…. she obviously isnt that quick/witty when it comes to a war of words and he knew it….. he did exactly what he got down on brenden for, bullying those he felt superior to. just my 2 cents.

What? Rachel an all-star? She will most likely be an all-star but she doesn't deserve it. Rachel is a buffoon who played this game with her emotions rather than rational thoughts. She was constantly being targeted, but instead of swaying people to her side, she went after everyone, that's ruh-tarded game play. IMO there is none from this season who could be true all-stars. I know the producers care more about entertainment value over people who actually played good games, but based solely on game play there are no all stars. The closest to an all star would either be Matt or Hayden but I wouldn't pick either of them as there are better players from seasons past.

the flaw in your rationale erica is defining an all-star as a good player….. when what an all-star really should be defined as is someone thta is the “star of the show” which rachel clearly was given how completely BORING this season is without her (actually with her too, but atleast when she was in the hosue there was some drama)…

no doubt this season has SUCKED. matt is a joke and only looks like a decent player relative to the inept competition in there… any other season and he is mediocre at best. and who the hell is hayden? LOL….

my point is, like it or not, this was rachels season…. of course she wasnt good at “playing the game” which is what made her so good for the viewer…. without drama, this show sucks, and she provided drama-a-plenty! just sayin. ;)

even if that were the case, it wouldnt be the first time diary dropped some clues to a HG as to what option to choose in a particular challenge…. has happened in past seasons… they might not tell him outright to choose the green rope (though they might, i certainly wouldnt put it past this crew of hacks)…. but they might plant seeds by continuously mentioning the word “green” by droppign it into their line of questiosn to the houseguest…. boogie and janelle have both said that they do that kind of thing in diary. this game is MUCH easier to rig than a game like SURVIVOR…..

Here's a question: Everyone is talking about how great the brigade has been (at least up until this point), but what did it ACTUALLY do? Did they make anything happen that would not have happened without them? Hayden and Matt both nominated Rachel and Brendon, which anyone in the house would have done. The other time Matt was HOH, he completely went against the Brigade's wishes and nominated people he wanted. All of the votes have been unanimous or nearly unanimous, so the Brigrade has not influenced votes. Am I missing something? What has the Brigade accomplished other than remaining a secret?

I agree with Nicole – I'm really hoping Brittany and Lane (Brane?) get married!

It actually IS a rule that you can't tell someone you are putting them on the block. They've mentioned this rule many times on the feeds. It ultimately becomes about semantics (you can say “I am thinking there's a strong chance I am probably going to put you up” but not, “Just to let you know so it's not a surprise, I'm nominating you.”) Brendon broke this rule and told Britney he was nominating her.

HOWEVER, I don't believe that BB granted her immunity because of it. They did require him to go talk to her one more time and say that he wasn't sure, at which point they made a “deal” and he chose to put up Ragan and Lane instead. And they certainly wouldn't have banned him from putting her up as a replacement after POV, since that's a different nomination (though production clearly wanted Matt to go up to force the DPOV to be used). So there are elements of truth to the Brendon-Brit nomination conspiracy, but I don't think it really affected anything too much.

Although I don't believe CBS goes as far as making a challenge easier for a specific person, it does appear that they interfere indirectly with challenges.
Look at Heroes Vs. Villains, The Heroes members were all ten times stronger then the Villains (with the exception of Colby), but they all seemed as dumb as a rock where as the villains wern't as strong phisically, but all were smarter.
Using a setup like that, CBS could say something like “Hmmm, Villains seem to be getting a lead, let's have the Sumo at Sea challenge so they stay even”

So, perhaps they could have thought Brenden needs to stay longer, so they had a challenge that requires some physical stature, some intelligence and some endurance to give Brenden a bit of an edge.

I don't watch the live feeds, but I keep up, or try rather, with the Live Feed discussion thread over at Sucks, and Hayden is apparently playing like Matt, but better. Playing like Matt as in lieing to everyone in the house to their faces, but everyone actually believes him, and he has F2 deal with a bunch of people.

the only problem with that theory is thta they have all of the challenges in SURVIVOR set-up prior to the game in which order they will be introduced…. they need to do this for logistical reasons. all supplies are air-lifted to location weeks before the game starts and many of the supplies/materials are used multiple times for different challenges…. i.e., they dont have the luxury of a home depot down the street…. everything is built on location as it is needed. each season, on most spoiler sites, you can usually find photos of the “challenge board” prior to the game even starting (before the contestants even get out there) with the challenges laid out.

I'll probably curse him with this comment but I think Hayden's almost playing a perfect game at the moment. Virtually everything that's said in that house gets reported back to him, Ragan is the only one who doesn't tell Hayden absolutely everything that he hears. If you asked everyone in the house who their 2 biggest targets are none of them would say Hayden yet he would beat all of them in the Final 2 provided he doesn't turn into Amanda infront of the jury. Hell, I don't think anyone would even consider Hayden to be one of their top 3 targets in the house.

Hey Rob and Nicole! Just a few things to say. First off, you guys were wondering where Britney's fiance was in Thursday's episode. Well, I think he was sitting next to her mom. Also, he called into this Big Brother podcast if you're interested in listening at all. It's called B. B. A. D. Radio with Erica and Lorraine. If you search it on itunes, it's the 8-5 episode.

Also, I'm wondering if you're going to be interviewing any Survivors anytime soon? I've loved all of the guests (well I wouldn't love Russell that's for sure) and though you two are great, I love getting to know inside dirt about them.

Any chance for a pre-Survivor podcast? And, did you know they're releasing Survivor Africa and Marquesas on DVD? Not Amazon, which is the one I really want, though.

I just read tonight that mike the situation has 5 million worth of sponcer deals already ..wtf. He's just a guido like the rest us Italians he's entertaining reality show guy thats it.. but he's not tiger woods,,,anyway i remember right after survivor amizon ended I e-meailed Rob C and was kinda suprised you answered me and we chatted about the italian hoods and maybe comming one day up to Toronto and have a conolli ,,anyway my point is these new reality celebs seem so stuck up and so overpaid that the shows look too staged and to fake and they are looking out for themselves and future deals so im not sold these shows are as real as they seem its more like a promotional tool for themselves thats my take ……..

The brigade has controlled every vote, that's why it's always unanimous. They have always made up more than half of the votes due to their side alliances so the rest of the house is forced to vote along with them otherwise they would be putting a target on their back. Kathy became Matt's main target simply because she was the only one who dared to not vote with them.

Last season, the best part about Jersey Shore was The Situation and Pauly D trying to hook up girls. They would find girls at the bar and bring them back to the house, where hilarious hijinks would ensure and they would hardly ever manage to actually “get any.” This season, it seems they don't even have any interest in hooking up! Even in the 1 episode where they brought girls back to the hot tub, it seems the last thing they wanted to do was even kiss! Now that they are “famous”, it seems they would be going after girls more than ever. Are they hooking up in the bathrooms at the clubs or something? Is that why they have no desire to bring anyone back? Without that, we are left with the “Love Story of Sammi and Ronny.” Blah.
