Celebrity Apprentice: Attack of the Colognes with Mario Lanza

Listen to the Podcast

Mario Lanza has been writing about Survivor since the show was in its infancy and has been following The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice as well over the years. Mario Lanza, author of the Survivor Funny 115, joins Rob to discuss this latest episode of The Celebrity Apprentice.

This week the teams were tasked with creating a Macy’s in store display for Donald Trump’s new cologne, Success. Clay Aiken was the project manager for his team and Aubrey O’Day was the was the Project Manger for the other team. Clay decided to go with Penn Jillette’s slogan for the team’s display which was “You’ve Earned It” which the executives from Macy’s did not like. Ultimately, because of this slogan, Penn Jillette was fired by Donald Trump in this week’s boardroom. Clay managed to save Lisa Lampanelli from being fired by sending her out of the boardroom.

Rob and Mario discuss why Donald Trump didn’t fire Dayana Mendoza instead of Penn on this week’s episode. Rob thinks it might have something to do with Dayana being a Miss Universe and Donald Trump being involved with the Miss Universe pageant. Both Rob and Mario were excited for loyal Trump family sidekick, George, to make an appearance on this week’s show in place of Donald Trump Jr.

The guys also break down the latest tension this week between Aubrey O’Day and Arsenio Hall and speculate as to whether Arsenio might be in love with Aubrey or if he just actually hates her. Plus, Mario shares some new insight into Lou Ferrigno and tells a crazy story about knowing Debbie Gibson’s stalker back in the early days of the internet. It’s a jam packed episode of the Celebrity Apprentice podcast with Mario Lanza!
