Rob Cesternino is joined by Big Brother 16 winner Derrick Levasseur (@DerrickL) and live feed correspondent Taran Armstrong (@ArmstrongTaran) to talk about Episodes 18 and 19 of Big Brother Canada 3.

Rob starts by talking about how many people still have the possibility to win. Derrick thinks this is because of the twist. Derrick thinks either Kevin or a floater like Willow or Sarah will win the game. Derrick feels that the Diaper Alliance is the only substantial alliance remaining. Rob wonders why showmances are so much safer in Big Brother Canada than the U.S. version.

Rob talks about Bruno’s similarities to Derrick. Derrick is rooting for Bruno but feels a big difference is Bruno didn’t form a better second alliance derived from the first power alliance like how the Detonators formed from the Bomb Squad. Derrick also feels Bruno spoke too much about the other players in the game that has limited his options.

Rob talks about Zach surviving the fall of Newport. Derrick thinks Zach can win it, but it would be foolish for the other players to let him go far.

Rob compares Godfrey to Zach Rance. Derrick doesn’t see much of a similarity. He thinks Godfrey is faking his “playing stupid for the camera” gag, while Zach is who you see on screen. Derrick thinks their main similarity is their great speeches.

Derrick thinks Kevin is a great physical, social, and strategic player. Derrick thinks targeting Bobby is a good move because Bobby is disliked, a physical threat, and Bruno’s allie. Rob says Brittnee should be happy that Kevin said she wasn’t a power player. Derrick thinks Kevin was lying about that and Britt isn’t savvy enough to understand he was doing her a favor.

Rob asks Derrick for his take on Willow getting to send a letter to the jury. Derrick thinks it’s not a huge advantage because it happened so early before Willow made her moves.

Rob, Taran, and Derrick talk about Bobby’s fake veto. Derrick says nothing like this has happened, but compares it to Joe Anglim’s fake Hidden Immunity Idol in the current season of Survivor. Taran says Bobby just wanted to make a theatric statement.

Rob asks about Big Brother asking about Zach’s chances of staying in the house during Head of Household competition. Derrick liked it as a viewer but hated it as a former houseguests. He feels Big Brother Canada is more partial than Big Brother U.S.

Derrick takes questions from the Rob Has a Podcast audience. How soon does Kevin need to flip on Zach and Ashleigh? What are Derrick’s opinions on a Final 3? How does Pili compare to Victoria? What results of the Triple Eviction will make good TV? Will there ever be a dominating two-girl alliance?

Rob, Derrick, and Taran move on to talk about the live feeds, including who is going home, avoiding being put on the block, acting in the diary room, the hidden Veto, and Derrick’s impact on future seasons.
